HAIL CONJURER / METSÄKIRKKO "Maailmansyöjä" CD

"Maailmansyöjä", a collaboration between black metal barbarian Hail Conjurer and the obscure hikers Metsäkirkko is a strange and murky brew. At times it is noisy, at times atmospheric and defies every imaginable genre definition. "Maailmansyöjä" reaches beyond a traditional split album and really merges both band's visions of primal and spiritual music, boiling them together. Still one might find bits of neofolk, experimental music and dungeon synth from this wild concoction. Recorded partly in rehearsal spaces, partly in the woods and partly in an old cowshed.
