KAOS-DEM "Energia Digitale (1986)" CD

Another holy grail of Italy's 1980s cassette underground. Recorded in Savona in 1986, Energia Digitale captures the visionary genius of Alessio Corradini, the brilliant force behind the ultra-elusive Kaos-Dem. Blending krautrock, industrial, no wave, electronic post-punk and synth-pop into a uniquely warped sonic universe, this is music that refuses categorization. Imagine The Residents colliding with Depeche Mode, Cabaret Voltaire with Yello, Psychic TV with Art of Noise - then filtered through a distinctly Italian DIY sensibility. Remastered with all the original artwork and more restored.
