Ugra Karma is a death metal band formed in Kathmandu, Nepal in 1999. They were the first band to play death metal in the country, and are known as metal icons in South Asia, having performed at various metal festivals not only in Asia but also in the United States, Europe, and other parts of the world.

Their first full album "Blood Metal Initiation" (Original released in 2001) is based on old school death metal and mixes elements to bestial black metal and feel the speed as thrash metal. This is a masterpiece of the Himalayan metal of death!!
